Who can enter The Next Level competition?

This competition is open to all digital artists worldwide. We will only accept entries that are original digital art.

Do I need to create new artwork for The Next Level competition?

No, you can submit any original work that you own the rights to. It does not need to be created specifically for this competition.

What kind of artwork will be eligible for this competition?

Any artwork that is created digitally that can be legally sold as original artwork. This includes, but is not limited to – Illustration, design, 3D modelling, 3D sculpting, animation, photo compositing and typography.

When does the competition close?

11:59 24 May 2017 (AEST)

Can I enter more than one artwork?

Yes, you can enter as many artworks as you like.

What does the prize include for winning artworks?

Winning artworks will be included in The Wacom Next Level Exhibitions and Publication. Exhibitions will be held in Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney. Artists will receive all profits from any works sold at these exhibitions and online (less the cost of framing and printing) All winning artworks are then eligible for the People’s Choice prize – a Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 (RRP AUD$2199 inc. GST).

When does People’s Choice voting open?

People’s Choice voting opens on 21st September 2017 and closes 3rd December 2017.

Do I need to attend a Wacom Authorised Training Centre (WATC) to enter?

No, entries are open to all digital artists of all levels from hobbyist to professional. There is an additional component available exclusive to students of Wacom Authorised Training Centres (WATCs)

I am a student at a Wacom Authorised Training Centre. How do I enter?

Upload your artwork to Instagram, mention the institution you are studying at, tag @justanotheragency and @wacomanz and use the hashtags #wacomnextlevel and #watc.
